The Relevance of Assessment and Culture in Evaluation Conference was Co-Founded by Drs. Stafford Hood and Melvin Hall. The conference was an opportunity to have transparent conversations about the state of educational assessment and evaluation as it pertains to marginalized and vulnerable populations within educational settings.
The RACE conference was a precursor to the Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) Annual Conference. CREA was also co-founded by Dr. Stafford Hood.
